Friends of the Scripture and Hermeneutics Seminar,
This is your invitation to two events on Friday, November 20, 2009 in New Orleans. Our first event features a dialogue between Professors Ellen Davis, David Moessner and Craig Bartholomew centered on Davis’ recent book, Scripture, Culture and Agriculture: An Agrarian Reading of the Bible.
Location: Bayside AB, Sheraton New Orleans
Time: 3:30-5:30pm
After our official meeting we will gather as a group for a meal at the Gordon Biersch Brewery, just a short walk from the Sheraton Hotel.
Location: 200 Poydras St., New Orleans, LA
Time: 6pm
Cost: Approximately $20-$25/person (*please note that this is not a "free" event, as the Eventbrite ticket suggests -- we are not selling tickets to dinner but we are receiving a special group rate - this rate does not include alcoholic beverages.)
